Dance Scholarship Fund Honors Maywood Instructor Who Died In Labor
A scholarship fund has been established in memory of dance teacher Tana Quigley, who died March 14 in labor with her new baby who also passed away. The Tana Quigley Scholarship Fund will be awarded to a dancer at Maywood Dance Center this fall. The expecting mom was a licensed clinical social worker formerly practicing in Hackensack. She had been working at a counseling center in Monmouth County, specializing in trauma therapy. What should have been a time of celebration turned to heartbreak for a New Jersey family suddenly in mourning. Tana Elizabeth Quigley, 35 originally of Woodcliff Lake, died due to birthing complications on March 14. Baby Parker didn't make it either, leaving dad and fiancé Chris Campana to grieve. NORWALK, Conn. -- The Wall Street Theater in Norwalk marked its official opening after an extensive, $10 million renovation by lighting up its marquee in a ceremony. The 700-seat theater, located at 71 Wall St., was originally built in 1915 and has been transformed into a next-generation performance space that will showcase professional music, comedy, dance and stage performances. In keeping with the 100-year-old history of the building, the blade and marquee sign will serve as a beacon for emerging artists and performers showcasing their talents.
